A project where a full range of our fitout services were utilised including: locating new premises, space planning, office partitioning, air conditioning, data cabling and electrical services. We also specified, supplied and fitted the furniture throughout.

Bibby Financial Services approached Rodley Interiors and asked for help to find and then fit out a new office in the Leeds area.

Finding the right office

We successfully found a suitable location at a new development of high quality offices in Yeadon that matched their requirements. Airport West has countryside views, great landscaping and excellent commuter access from North Leeds, Bradford, Wetherby, Harrogate & Ilkley as well as being close to Leeds Bradford International Airport.

Space planning

Our space planning service helped them maximise the open office space to enable the large number of staff and their storage requirements to be effectively located within the workspace.

Fit Out Services

Rodley Interiors full fit out service also included electrical work installing additional power points and making lighting alterations to suit the new layout. Alongside this we added full CAT 5 data cabling throughout with appropriate outlets. Suitable air-conditioning was supplied and installed to the communications room.

Choosing the right Partitioning

We suggested full height frameless glass partitioning for both the director’s offices and the board room as it is more aesthetically pleasing whilst still maintaining a degree of privacy. We went with the high quality Polar Partitioning system from Komfort which was single glazed with a frosted manifestation to comply with DDA requirements.

The Komfort Glazed Partitioning Systems offer an excellent degree of noise reduction whilst still allowing natural light to flood into the main open plan office area.

Full height Komfire 75 door frames with Cherry doors and inset vision panels were used. The dividing walls to the offices and board room are double thickness for better sound reduction and are finished using a flush wall effect with an aluminium skirting.

Specifying and supplying furniture

As part of our one-stop-shop service they asked us to fully furnish the office too. We suggested Oak laminated furniture throughout the office to continue the modern look. Its appealing, warm, natural wood finish is also cost effective. All the desks were supplied with mobile filing pedestal drawers and fitted with CPU brackets for the computers – which raises them off the floor and gives the workers more leg room. The side-office executive workstations were fitted with conference desk ends.

Storage with a degree of privacy was requested by the client so we suggested Tambour storage units with lockable doors. These were also utilised as area dividers within the main office space. We also supplied office operator chairs with fabrics that tied in with the colour scheme for the office and providing a continuity of design throughout the whole workplace.
