Ongoing partitioning project, Leeds.

We are well under-way with our ongoing office partitioning project, Leeds to partition these large open areas on two floors of this City Centre office. The ground floor installation is quickly coming together. SoundBloc plasterboard have been installed with insulation slab to the cavity between the studs that offers help with the noise reduction between the offices and with a tape and fill finish that leaves the plaster boards ready for decorating with drywall primer first and then emulsion paint with one mist coat and two top coats.

The black glazing bead and spacer bar have been fixed ready for the glass installation.  The glass and blinds have been measured and will be installed this week. The glass will be 6.4mm thick laminate and the blinds will be 25mm solid slat in silver. This style of glass partitioning suits meeting rooms as it offers privacy and near black out conditions for overhead projectors. Skirting  detail will be a warm, natural, solid walnut with cover trims in SAA finish.

1st Floor Partitioning.

As you can see the 1st floor is also progressing nicely too as the stud framework starts to go up. The glazing on the 1st floor is full height double glazed with a one metre high manifestation band from the floor level to offer some modesty. The skirting will be 100mm Aluminium with a RAL 9006 silver finish with a secret fix behind it that offers flush clean lines.
