An existing client of ours approached us to carry out their large office refurbishment project in Huddersfield. Here is a breakdown of the ground floor works completed.
Strip out and decoration works
The first stage of the works was to strip out the existing kitchen area and then carry out decoration works to all 4 exteriors walls with; 2 coats of emulsion to the walls and with gloss and skirting’s to the frames.
Worktops to create practical office workstations
The second stage of the office refurbishment was to form the workstations.
Long runs of office workstations and pods of hot desks are becoming increasingly popular within offices as businesses continue to grow. Lengthy workstations and hot desks can enable businesses to utilise their floor space and increase productivity.
The client required the space to be utilised to accommodate more staff. We installed the office workstations with worktops, legs and solid desk dividers to form 13 openings along one side of the large office, leaving the remainder of floor space free.
The flooring works we carried out to the large area included the strip out of existing flooring tiles, full screeding to ensure the floor was level and the supply and laying of 125sq.mtrs of Aspect Carbon carpet tiles. The tiles were laid in a checkerboard effect creating a real feature to the area.
Once the office workstations had been formed we supplied the client with the following office area making each station practical and user friendly;
Operator chairs in Black fabric to match the existing we installed on the 1st floor.
