Utilising space in a small office area

The most important factor discussed when we first liaised with our client was utilising the area to get the most out of the space available.

Visualising the partitioning in a small area can sometimes be hard when layout and and 3d plans are produced our clients can fully imagine how their working area will look. We offer a full planning and layout service to aid with our clients outlook of the proposed offices.

Benefits of soundproof partitioning

Good sound retention qualities in a small office space is imperative if you are wanting to keep private conversations, private. Having a segregated offices formed in a small area can be hugely
beneficial. We often have clients that work within an open plan office who request to have separate offices formed for privacy. Partitioning within a small office space can offer enhanced staff productivity with the different areas of the business being segregated.

“My office is only small,  but I need some privacy between staff what can you recommend?”

There are a few options and partitioning systems you can install to offer an element of privacy. Full height solid partition dividing walls in either 75mm or 100mm partitioning offer fantastic sound retention qualities. By adding insulation quilt fitted within the cavity of 2 plasterboards offers a high quality of sound retention. Insulation quilt can also be laid on top of the ceiling tiles to reduce sound travel between offices.

If you are wishing to keep your working area light and open glass partitioning is the answer. Double glazed windows can be fitted with integral blinds which can determine the amount of light and privacy required.  If you are keeping with the theme of glass, a manifestation film can be applied directly to the glass in the design and colour of your choice.
