Rodley Interiors has recently undertaken an office refurbishment project for an accountancy firm in Keighley.
The project included the supply and fit of new partitioning with the objective to form two brand new office spaces, as well as adding a new kitchen area and upgrading the ladies and gents toilet facilities.
The brand new office spaces have been created to allow them to provide greater meeting facilities on site. The meeting room is designed for both internal and external meetings which will allow the company to further increase their company offerings.
To create the two meeting rooms, 10 full height-frameless glass modules have been installed to form the frontage and 2 full height glass doors with back to back handles with a solid dividing wall partition to separate in-between. The glass partition allows for large amounts of natural light to flood in to the meeting rooms and the remaining office space.
Two rows of 50mm manifestation dots have been applied to all the glass including the doors to comply with DDA compliance to stop those with impaired vision walking into the glass. Manifestation of this type must be added under the Workplace Health & Safety Welfare Approved code of practice (L24 Regulation 14) where there is a risk of human impact. These dots must be at heights of between 850mm to 1000mm and 1400mm to 1600mm above the floor.
As well as partitioning works, our team have also supplied and fitted a new kitchen area which includes base unit, two wall units and a sink.
Further to this, the accountancy firm wanted to provide greater toilet facilities for their staff and
thus have upgraded these too. Our team stripped out and replaced three cubicles and fitted new partitioning which contains three standard height single door sets in Ash, with handles and turn button indicator locks.
If you are considering making changes to your office space and believe that the adding of office partitioning will allow you to better create the space you require, please give us a call.
Rodley Interiors work all over the Yorkshire region, including Wakefield, Leeds, Huddersfield and Bradford and can provide glass partitioning, solid partitioning and timber partitioning systems.
