Interior industrial style glass partitions are becoming a popular system choice within the office environment. We have fitted black framed partitioning for a West Yorkshire steel manufacturer which has created a number of large offices and individual meeting rooms. Each office was formed using full height double glazed modules with additional blinds for privacy. The West Yorkshire company had newly acquired the floor space refurbishing an old mill. With the industrial pillars and beams left in situ, black framed partitioning was an ideal choice to complement the interior style.
The double glazed partitioning option will allow for minimal sound travel between each office which will ensure the highest levels of privacy for our client. Due to the space not having a false or suspended ceiling installing insulation above the ceiling void couldn’t be achieved, therefore a double glazed option was the ideal choice for sound retention. The floor to ceiling height glass has complemented the large external windows allowing maximum amount of light into each workspaces. The blinds sat within the double glazed modules are manufactured in black to carry on with the industrial theme. These blinds can altered to suit privacy levels required in each office. The project which was expected to take 3 weeks to complete will also feature the fitting of new office flooring, furniture and electrical and data works. Industrial style office radiators will also be installed, which will also be painted in black.
The industrial style partitions are sat underneath the original ceiling which has been painted in a bright white. We have formed partitioning bulkheads to fix the glazing modules to which are also finished in bright white.
