Renovation of a large office space

Rodley Interiors have just carried out a complete revamp of a working area in Newcastle .

The project, which was completed over a nine week period, has completely revolutionised the space, giving the company a more professional appeal and maximising the whole working area.

At Rodley Interiors, we can help people turn a concept into reality, and this was certainly the case here.

The majority of the initial works included the stripping out of existing office partitioning and the dividing walls in the refreshment area, which gave the blank canvas to start the reattribution of space and division by glass partitioning.

Forming offices around an atrium

The focal point of the room is a superb atrium, where everything is split from. From here, our team have used dividers and partitions to creating 4 separate meeting rooms, a communication and business centre and informal social conference areas. A full layout plan of the space can be found here. This has been done through the use of full height glazed windows and full height walnut doors.

To give the space even more flexibility, and the company better use of the space, a moveable folding wall has also

been included within the Boardroom.

To create the right aesthetics within the project, the existing suspended ceiling was stripped out and replaced with new suspended ceilings to match existing forming bulk head where required. The complete overhaul was finished off with new white goods in the refreshment area, of which Rodley Interiors helped source and new roller blinds for the windows.

During the whole project, Rodley Interiors co-ordinated the works and site management, effectively supervising the safe removal of existing walls and ceilings and then the rebuilding of the area.

Should you and your company be looking for ways to add extra value to your office space, glazed partitioning could well be the answer. For more information, please do not hesitate to contact one of our team on 0113 281 95 95
